I share with you my favorite works and Instagram accounts, a way for you to easily find content.
POSITIVE EDUCATION
papapositivefr - Belmonte Jean-François https://www.instagram.com/papapositivefr/?hl=fr
This man does an outstanding job. Each of these videos are sweet and full of good advice. He often makes several videos on the same theme over a period of time. He also recommends books and tools to help us. He encounters a lot of derogatory comments about positive education and shares them, which is also very interesting and gives an insight into the mentality which remains very oriented towards punishment and old-fashioned methods. Bravo to him!
CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Céline Alvarez (@clnalvarez) https://www.instagram.com/clnalvarez/?hl=fr Author, speaker, teacher.
Her books :
• The natural laws of the child, @les_arenes, 2016
• A year to change everything, @les_arenes 2019
I love this woman, I discovered her first book a long time ago and recently I have been actively watching what she posts on Instagram. She seeks to bring her discoveries about our children to as many people as possible. In particular, it presents a new reading method that is much more suited to our children's brains. To investigate, appropriate and implement at home.
SLEEP
Elodie's account https://www.instagram.com/elodie.hellododo/ (@elodie.hellododo)
After a lot of research on sleep, this is one of the rare times where I find someone who questions the pseudo sleep coaches that we find everywhere. Or worse, the opinions of pediatricians or other professionals who simply say to let it cry. She has a human approach, without tears and favors connection. She presents points related to neuroscience and the natural development of babies' sleep. I particularly like his metaphor about the driving school driver: we are the instructor and cannot let our child drive alone on the road directly, steps in learning are sometimes necessary. Example: I put my child to sleep on my arm, perhaps try to put him to sleep with his arm lying down, then on his arm for less time, then next to you, etc.
This spoke to me a lot and also made me used a lot.
My favorite book on sleep, the one that really reassured me about my choices and reassured me in what I did with my daughter: SLEEPING WITHOUT TEARS - Jové, Rosa - https://www.amazon.fr/Dormir- without-tears-Rosa-Jov%C3%A9/dp/2352046106
If you only had to read or leaf through one, it's this one. When we understand how children work and their real needs, we no longer ask ourselves the question "am I giving them bad habits" and we no longer listen to the "advice" around us, we know, we feel it that this is what is good for our child.
EXAMPLES OF AN AUTONOMOUS & SO HAPPY CHILD - to replicate at home as best you can! NICOOK_OFF https://www.instagram.com/nicook_off/?hl=fr
This Corsican pastry chef gives his children a taste for cooking and good products. He lets his 2 children prepare meals alone and it's magical to watch. The big sister's kindness is astonishing, and the little brother's concentration is disconcerting. The testing visits to restaurants are also good teaching, the children are really considered in their own right and their behavior is reflected, they are incredible. To discover :)
